Julia Reagan Dubray is a seasoned documentary filmmaker who has collaborated on films and television for National Geographic, Netflix, Hulu, CNN Films, among others. One of her most recent films, Enid & Mami, examines the incredible challenge so many people are facing in this country: transitioning into the role of caregiver for a loved one. The project won the Jury Prize at BIFF for Best Short Documentary, the Best Documentary award at the International Puerto Rican Heritage Festival and was an official selection at dozens of others.
Most recently, she’s directed a new documentary with Culture House, developed a TV series with Time Studios, directed branded films with Godfrey Dadich Partners & Radical Media, co-directed & produced for the Hulu series, Taste the Nation. Before her fifteen years living in New York, she lived in Buenos Aires where she filmed her first documentary and worked as a bilingual journalist (& waitress).
