Julia Reagan is a documentary filmmaker

who has collaborated on multiple films and television for National Geographic, Netflix, Hulu, CNN Films, among others.  One of her most recent films, Enid & Mami, examines the incredible challenge so many people are facing in this country:  transitioning into the role of caregiver for a loved one.  The project won the Jury Prize at BIFF 2020 for Best Short Documentary, the Best Documentary award at the International Puerto Rican Heritage Festival 2020 and was an official selection at dozens of others.  

Recently, she’s directed branded documentaries with Godfrey Dadich Partners & Radical Media, co-directed & produced for the Hulu series, Taste the Nation, was a producer & director on the second season of Netflix’s ABSTRACT: The Art of Design as well as directing multiple projects for National Geographic. Before her thirteen years living in New York, she lived in Buenos Aires where she filmed her first documentary and worked as a bilingual journalist.
